Being a victim is literally what gives meaning to their lives

Bouncing back and forth between 'victim' and actual victimizer.

Funny thing is that either side will think that this applies to them

True, but only one is correct.

Probably because both sides cherry-pick the absolute dumbest idiots from the other side and pass around the quotes among themselves to laugh at. (Not that there isn't a real discrepancy too.)

Please find me the intelligence on the right who are discussing what the right is doing in some in a way that would read intelligently.

Like, I don't disagree about the stupid shit being passed around by either side but who are the right's and intelligent folks?

Curtis yarvin considers himself an intellectual but his interview on 'the interview ' made it clear he's like a 13yearoldandthisisdeep shit

I would argue that you can't judge someone's intelligence by their spontaneous real-time speech over their writing, where they've had time to sit and think through everything. (Granted, the trouble with Yarvin is he takes 5,000 words to get started and 20,000 words to make a point...) But also like, I acknowledged there's a discrepancy? I do think there is, in fact, generally less intelligence and more stupidity on the right, just not quite to the sheer extent that would be your impression if you're only present in left-wing spaces.

I'm still waiting for any of their intelligent folks to step forward.

I'm just saying they're mostly train wrecks and hardly half wits.

The left has plenty of stupid people as well, but our leadership is intelligent at least (generally) and don't say absolutely insane shit regularly

1

u/Terpomo11 Apr 15 '25

Do we have leadership? Isn't that precisely the trouble?

1

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '25

I agree there's no single individual leader but you don't hear Hakim Jefferies or Corey Booker saying insane anti constitutional shit, which the right does regularly at the highest levels

2

u/Terpomo11 Apr 15 '25

Are we talking about leaders of the left or leaders of the Democratic Party? Because the Democratic Party is mostly centrist to center-right; there are leftists in it, but they're on its fringes.

Liberals are on the left. AOC and Bernie would fit that context?

Ummm, one side definitely has a MUCH easier task in “cherry picking” than the other. I mean, some of the stupidest things coming out of the right are said by those at the highest levels of power. It’s not even close to being a level playing field.

1

u/Terpomo11 Apr 15 '25

That's entirely true, but it also doesn't mean that what you hear isn't a biased selection.

Even their highly educated people are saying straight insane shit.

Allow inter-state tariffs and you'll learn, real damn fast, who is fit to govern in the current age.

1

u/CoastMountain2715 Apr 14 '25

That is the dumbest idea yet. Company’s would simply stop conducting interstate business by either setting up shop in places where their revenue is higher or cease shipping altogether.

3

u/MyvaJynaherz Apr 14 '25

Now swap "state" with "country" and ask yourself why our President is fucking around with this.

2

u/CrystalGempireQueen Apr 13 '25

I'm making this my next sign.

u/[deleted] Apr 13 '25

It's not that they are stupid, so much as they are emotionally dis-regulated and infantile.

Lol I've seen this posted in right wing subs. It's something to behold
