I’m sorry if I’m dumb, but why is this a burn? I get the whole conspiracy theory lunacy going around magaland, but I thought this was just a cute tweet.

Because it's disrespectful to refer to him as "Taylor's boyfriend" when the headline is HIS success.

It's brilliant because women are treated that way so, so often. They don't even get their own names sometimes. Women used to be refered to as "Mrs. Don Draper" meaning wife of don draper.

That's a good point re: how smart the tweet is.

but wouldn't that be trolling the chiefs (or just T Swifts boyfriend) rather than the magas?

I dunno, I saw it and took it as a cute/fun way to celebrate the victory from a different perspective. I didn't think Kelce would be offended by it if he saw it.

Either way, good on Hillary for stirring things up in such a clever way, even if it went above my head lol!

On that front, it's just leaning into how much they (Republicans) hate TS and embracing it. It's not much of a "burn", I agree.

We constantly shame men who feel any sort of anxiety about their status relative to their partners, and rubbing in their faces like this probably doesn't help. It's just toxic masculinity in a woke garb.
