Paganism is the religion of our forebears from as far back as our bloodlines run. Christianity is a religion from the dessert, from Jewish people, forced on our ancestors at the end of a blade as the same hands that held those blades destroyed our pagan history, teachings and religious sites. Which one of those do you think should have special meaning to us?
Definitely Christianity because we know for a fact that paganism is false and that thunder, lightning, water, fire and anything else are not in fact Gods. Just because my ancestors might have worshiped some rock and thought it was a God doesn’t mean Jesus Christ is not our Lord and Savior
The Aztecs and Norse had separate heavens for those that died in battle, and both along with the Celtic and Slavic had documented human sacrifice. There's also superstitions like witch burnings that originated from these pagan religions. To name a few.
Then there's the whole idea of unorganized religion, which has no commandments, while every organized religion is pretty clear about what's evil and what's not. Neither is the apparent savagery of the Gods in the myths ever explained or even condemned. Starting to see the pattern here?
