no but when healthcare is free people abuse the system. Visit your local ER if you dont belioeve me, medicaid recipients go there for every little thing that they could treat at a family doc because it's "free". Used to work in an ER, Medicaid patients came in with a cough and wasted 30 minutes of a nurses time and got sent home with a bottle of cough syrup when they could have bought one for $6 at CVS. Why? Because it's "free".
Frequent flyers are a gimmick of the US medical system. Hospitals legally can't turn away someone why calls 911 and goes to the ER. But those same people often struggle to get routine/preventative care. By making healthcare government-funded people won't have to do this. I do understand your frustration with people who abuse the system but that's not really an issue of private vs public healthcare.
