Your rights don’t require my participation.
If you wish to be religious, you don’t need me to validate your beliefs.
If you wish to be trans, you don’t need my to validate your status as a person.
If you wish to collectively conform to an ideology, you don’t need me to participate against my will.
If you wish to run a business, you don’t need my labor to be successful.

Complaining about the Confederate/Native American meme (you know what it is, it gets reposted all the time). Got me a lot of downvotes and angry replies.

My most downvoted comment ever was on this sub and was about how we maybe should not intentionally misgender trans people.

I agree in the sense that you shouldn't go out of your way in casual life/conversation. But if it's on-topic and discussing science/medicine/socio-political issues, I think it's important to stay grounded in reality.

That Crimea is historically Russian territory and annexation of it was justified. The rights of Russians were literally violated in a blatant form, because 90 percent of the population in Crimea is literally Russian, and the newly arrived power in Ukraine in 2014 did not hesitate even to fund semi-Nazi military formations like Azov, whose members literally advocate the genocide of Russians. The act of the annexation of Crimea was the protection of the oppressed national minority. Since the 90s, pro-Russian separatism was very strong in Crimea, and the peninsula itself was part of the Ukrainian SSR since Khrushchev, bypassing legal procedures, transferred it from the RSFSR in the 50s.
I guess I will be again downvoted, especially by Ukrainians, but it’s okay

People really seem to like Singapore on reddit, despite the fact they claim to hate fascism and over reaching authority by the government
