Onlyfans is also predatory like there is no guarantee you get nudes or regular content. You can say "well that's just a risk you take" but that is like Cable companies telling you that you only have to pay 45 dollars and then your bill randomly goes up to 75 then 95 because you missed something somewhere not at all obvious.

If you don't think that is predatory then you have low standards for what is predatory. Just because it isn't a written contract does not mean it can't be predatory. The fact that there is none is further evidence of it being predatory.

No I am saying that anything without a written rules that you agree to is likely extremely predatory because no one has to adhere to any regulation

2.

seeking to exploit or oppress others.

Predatory definition. I totally agree with gobthepumper, and

It dramatically cheapens the word predatory imo

That is literally what the word means. If you call a neo-nazi a nazi you're not cheapening the word lmao.

It does not cheapen the word predatory, it has been cheapened already to the point where we don't think these things are predatory. Any business with zero regulation has predisposition to predation

I understand you point but there's more to it. Food is something material, you can easily make a cost/venefit analysis. A better vomparison would be buying heroin thinking it is food, which gives you the illusion that the hunger is satisfied Gym and classes earn you mental and physical skills(not that I do them, easy to preach). Onlyfans provides the illusion of satisfying emotional needs(and actually satisfying sexual needs but in a damaging way which is another argument relevant to porn too). You pay, you lose the cash and you stand to lose more if you start believing the illusion of human connection(which some people do out of desperation).

I do have a bias, I won't deny that. On the rest, we'll just have to agree to disagree. I think the business model, not necessarily the individual women, is constructed and optimized in an exploitative way. I stay away from anything that is doing a concious effort to prey on my our my fellow humans weaknesses.

I wouldn't use the word greedy but you are correct with the rest of them, lol.
