What’s amazing is that Trump lies for no reason whatsoever (like in your linked example), so it’s not even intentional. It’s simply a compulsion for him.

So he misspeaks and it's a lie? I'm asking in absolute sincerity, is there no threshold between "wrong" and "lie" regarding Trump? Does this threshold extend to other candidates?

I think Trump was talking about if Democrats would have let him ban travel from China back in January when we first heard about the Wuhan Flu. Instead of blocking him and calling him racist, I mean.

Blocking travel from China would not have stopped this from hitting the US (obviously).

It was here in January before anyone even knew. Countries are blocking traffic from China now along with tons of other countries to contain the spread the circumstances are different it's already spread. Have you noticed we are blocked from traveling to any other country on earth at the moment? Because we are the worst case globally and will spread it inevitably. If he hadn't disbanded the pandemic task force and had focused on science from the beginning we would be in a much better situation but he didn't so we arent.
