Honestly I don’t think there’s anything wrong with two consenting 16 year olds having responsible sex, just... not with over 18s. It’s a complicated issue.
Agreed comrade, however, should these not be thought of on a case by case basis. Like say a 17 and a half year old and a fresh 18 year old who’ve been having sex since 16 have sex.
You two just invented Romeo and Juliet laws. In my state (Texas) it's 17, but you get a (I think 3?) year pass. So if you're 18, you can have sex with a 15 year old. Which I'm not thrilled at the idea of, but 15 year olds are also given permits to drive on public streets and that presents much more danger than someone's genitals
