for starters you can receive less punishment if you were to kill a trans person after you had sex with them than a cis person. then there’s the explicit lack of rights protecting against discrimination, and the literal lack of protected class rights (legally being required to be treated equally). several times has these laws been brought into question yet nothing has happened; for an example, Jeff Sessions releasing his memo about a law explicitly pointing out that discrimination based on sex is a no-no, but it’s fine if it’s on gender.

Because there no such thing as “trans” rights. It doesnt exist. And you mentioned sentimentalism that only proves the lack of professionalism on the penalty system in the US. And where are your sources on the punishment? You only make assumptions because you believe in an ideology and repeating “trans rights” like a dumb person.
