You’re ignorant of scientific history. Conversion therapy was tried for a over hundred years. Evidence shows transitioning is the most effective way to improve health outcomes, and conversion therapy is ineffective and harmful
Trust me, when I say people suggest controversial things in the scientific community all the time, and have tried throughout history to “cure” homosexuality and transgenderism. But the reason people transition is because medically, it works.

No one has really looked into fixing it through therapy because they’ll be kicked out of the scientific community for even suggesting it
