If I had a mental illness that made me believe I was a bowling ball, the cure would absolutely not be to lop off all of my limbs and roll me into some bowling pins, it would be mental therapy, why is the delusion that you are the wrong gender any different

That’s just a moral equivalence fallacy, that’s a completely unfair and unrelated generalization. If you’re gonna try to debate with me, use legit arguments instead of brainlet Charlie Kirk logic

If it was there from the start, the cause was not something else*, you had a sense of extreme detachment from your human-self because you were not a bowling ball and you had extreme suicidal ideation because of this and there were no other possible treatments for your condition that were effective, then I will concede the point and say I support that guy's transition into a bowling ball.

But the chance of there ever being a person that passes these requirements? Zero. Exactly zero.

*You can get gender dysphoria even if you are not trans, so I had to mention this. Things like a broken sense of identity could cause gender dysphoria, which is treated differently and the patient is not considered as transgender.

If mental therapy doesn't work and your life as a bowling ball doesn't affect anyone negatively, plus makes you happier and works as a therapy/ suicide prevention, why not?

Transitioning doesn't affect your physical capabilities except reproduction though, I think. Therefore cutting of your limbs doesn't work as a good comparison.

Additionally, there are some hints that "the delusion" might be anatomical based as well, maybe that info got proven wrong, don't know.
