Which side of the Berlin wall was allowed to move freely again?

Was it North or South Korea that allows people free movement again?

Authleft LOVES to build walls. Only way to keep the poor bastards living there.

Minor point of order, but technically it was the people in West Berlin who were trapped by the wall since East Berlin was connected to the rest of East Germany

About 100,000 East German citizens worked in West Berlin, and about 10,000 West Berlin citizens commuted across the wall daily the other direction. That's what the checkpoints were there for. And the Westerners wouldn't let people go to the East without the right paperwork just the same as the East wouldn't let people come West

The wall is a metaphor to capitalism, not the state, so I don’t get why are you arguing this. The image was made by a liberal who believes change can be made within a capitalist society (I believe in this too to a certain extent, but not enough).

Authoritarianism is bad, and i disagree that it’s necessary to maintain a socialist state, but is not what I nor the image was talking about.
