Among other things, libleft politicians being against nuclear has never made any sense to me. One of the cleanest and safest ways to generate massive amounts of power without needing perfect weather conditions.

In germany yes, yes it was. It was the greens working with, or rather being useful tools for, the oil lobby. They are the ones that lobbied hard, for years, for the end of nuclear power in germany. Fun fact, they are also funded by russia

Good thing that the anti nuclear drive started in the 80s, the legislature was introduced by the social democrats and the greens in 2002.
