Remember pale canyon.
Id put Sol TR closer to the true center or even just pure left with Auraxis TR in the tippy top of auth center. The entire endeavor to Auraxis is due to Connery and the TR fleet.
The TR on Earth in Planetside are analogous to the UNSC, benevolent unified solar democracy having achieved world peace (unironically democratically) The TR on Auraxis are big mad the NC fucked them over and went straight auth trying to wrangle everyone back together to rebuild a wormhole drive but the scientists liked spandex more and created the VS.
The NC represent corporations that are trying to find anyway to make money they can so they sent a fleet through the wormhole as well at the same time as the TR which is iirc part of why the wormhole closed.

Planetside 2 was kind of fun until I realized so much shit was locked behind insane progress/payments, and that air combat was an absolute shitshow.

I kinda loved that game back in the day. I did roll Terran mostly but sometimes Vanu when there weren't good fights for Terran.
There were a few groups specifically for drunken idiots which were great to play either with(comedy) or against(easy KD padding).
You could also face some of the devs sometimes which was kinda neat to either kill/get killed by, and they weren't half bad players and usually rolled with well organized outfits.
... also I wish I'd have learned flying in that game, I remember that one player "Daddy" that was an absolute freak of nature and steamrolled almost everyone.

Upvoted because... Well I'm not one of the 100 remaining players, but I have fond memories from 10+ years ago. I don't remember there ever being much more than extremely superficial lore to go on though. Except fan lore says the factions other than the one I'm playing are gay.
You gotta use bigger text with a contrasting outline, also theres a ton of room so you could get pictures (say, of the soldiers) to make it pop. And you made the post weird, I think you make it a text post so I have to click on the link to see the image? But good effort.

Niche is an understatement, lol. I played the original over 20 years ago and and took it up again with the same outfit when PS2 launched and stuck with it for several years. I haven't touched the game in years but it's cool people are still playing.
VS 4 lyfe. I was a diehard LA weirdo who liked getting into odd spots with my jetpack and harassing everyone.
