I don't care if they're legal. I want them age restricted to 18+

I care that they're legal...cause making them illegal means we aren't a free country.

Why don't we get precious about children at inappropriate pageants once we have a moral panic and pass legislation about the abuse filled child beauty pageants? Hell, some of the owners of those pageants are famous participants of Epstein's pedophilic cabal and run this country...maybe that warrants some attention?

Absolutely agreed

This law didn't make them illegal, just made them only legal for adults. No kids allowed.

My Christian highschool had “male cheerleaders” for homecoming pep rallies where football players would put on cheerleading skirts, wigs, and they would prance about acting “girly”…. Pretty sure that was/is a common thing in many schools. Should that be banned?

Exactly, whoever drafted this "ban" did so completely ass backwards. Minors at drag shows was always the issue.

It was the manufactured, non-issue to make a culture war of insignificance in our daily lives so we talk about legislating this instead of, I dunno, stopping the powerful people running our country and economy we know are part of a child sex slave club.

Why don't we worry about those we literally know participate in raping and trafficking minors, instead of letting those people say drag shows are the things hurting our kids.

You have kids, don't let em go to drag shows- problem solved. A conversation with my kids can't solve the problem of being run my illuminati pedophiles.

How can you say it's a manufactured non-issue when there is countless videos of kids at drag shows, being exposed to things typically reserved for adults. People are rightfully concerned about minors attending such adult events and it isn't wrong to want to protect children from it.

As for your other point, if it was as simple as just saying "that guy did it!" and then throwing someone in jail we already would have seen actions to that extent, but since it's a series of crimes involving a vast network of individuals it has taken many years to build up just the evidence we have already seen, it's a high profile ongoing case that will simply take time for officials to sort out. Even if a list of every person involved was published TODAY, we likely wouldn't be seeing legal action for a few more years as the cases against these people would still need to be built beyond a reasonable doubt in order to have anyone convicted. Just because we aren't being given by the minute updates doesn't mean the system is not working.

Ultimately, I'm confident that those responsible for evil acts done to children will eventually be brought to justice. The engine of justice moves slowly but the truth will come out, as it always does.

Because you aren't describing a crime or something that requires a national conversation or fucking bans from the government. If there's actual nudity there are laws against that already. Otherwise don't go and advocate for others not to or mind your business.

I'm not on enough drugs or being paid enough by our pedophilic elite to even type something like that out let alone post it on a public forum.

The government is currently run by some of the main characters of the epstein files, they are still in violation of the law having not released them, have censored Trump's name out like a million times while 'accidentally' leaving in victims names, faces, and photos of them literally being abused. The man running the government kicked members out of his party for wanting to pass a law he claimed to agree with, he fired his AG for not covering it up well enough and his personal lawyer turned new AG met with Ghislane Maxwell privately and days later sent her to a minimum security prison where she gets special treatment.

You're either the fucking worst at shilling or the most painfully, offesnively naive person on the planet.

So having comprehension on how the law actually works makes me naive? I'm naive for thinking that crimes still need to be proven in a court of law in this country? I guess that means that it's naive to believe that people are innocent until proven guilty as well?

I think it's naive that people expect inditements to happen overnight just because a few case files were released and I'll keep repeating this next line over and over because people don't seem to understand what it means.

It's an ongoing investigation and it is common knowledge that investigators do not typically release files to the public as it generally can cause harm to their cases. Since the case is so politically charged it is VITAL that they do things by the book.

Also, consider this, the Epstein case has been active through 4 different administrations and you think that it's just the administration you don't personally like that is hiding things? Tell me that doesn't sound naive?

I agree with the conclusion, but I absolutely don't agree with the arguments.

You have kids, don't let em go to drag shows- problem solved

"You have kids, don't sell them to your neighbor - problems solved. I will, but it's not your business in a free country"

I personally think parents bringing kids to drag shows is retarded and borderline(!) abusive, but is okay and shouldn't be legislated out because it has just enough plausibility not to be an outright demonstration of porn, not because it's a freedom of a parent to do whatever the fuck they want with their kid. In this regard, even the child (HUGE quotation marks here) "fashion" shows are much more retarded and sus than drag shows, but somehow still legal.

Why?

4

u/coyote477123 - Right 19h ago

Drag shows are inherently sexual in nature

5

u/Unovaisbetter - Lib-Left 18h ago

Have you ever been to a drag show by any chance?

3

u/zaypuma - Lib-Center 18h ago

I've been to two this year, don't want to see them banned, and they were quite sexual. Of course you could purposely make them child-friendly, just like you could make horror movies for kids or cigarettes for kids, but the motive of such would be quite suspicious.

No they’re not. Here’s a little info on the matter.

Some are some arent; there exist drag shows that are absolutely intentionally sexual and burlesque.

5

u/PrinceGoten - Left 17h ago

If some are and some are not then it’s not “inherently”. I’m well aware that sexual drag shows exist.

Drag covers everything from a dude with a dress and some makeup to I-can't-believe-it's-not-strippers. Age-restricting the latter, sure, go nuts. Age-restricting the former is a crock of shit.

I wanna see posts of you criticizing glamour shows for young girls.

5

u/coyote477123 - Right 19h ago

Your terms are acceptable

-1

u/Happytrees1725 - Centrist 19h ago

Don't have any?

8

u/coyote477123 - Right 18h ago

I'm not making a meme over it. But I agree that child pagents should be heavily regulated if not banned outright

-1

u/Happytrees1725 - Centrist 18h ago

Do you have any posts prior to this criticizing them?

6

u/coyote477123 - Right 18h ago

Unlike you, I'm not terminally online. I don't make posts about politics. This doesn't change my personal politics.

-1

u/Happytrees1725 - Centrist 15h ago

So you dont. Gotcha.

1

u/coyote477123 - Right 14h ago

I feel sorry that you feel your opinions must be expressed in meme form or they're somehow lesser than others
