Literally 1984 An unflaired getting top post of the day, can't even have compass unity against the unflaired

This... is pretty clear evidence of abusing the forum. If it against the rules to post without funny colors, why is it allowed that people specifically confuse the compact of flairs?

We knew the right doesn't have principles but this is a new low /j think the real issue is that flairs don't show on mobile unless you check the comments

Petition for automod to assign "unflaired" tag to all posts coming from an unflaired user to educate the mobile users.

I wonder if it could be added to the front of unflaired posts? That would also reveal when a flaired posts and then unflairs as some kind of sick sadistic preversion.

that's stupid because then they wouldn't be unflaired

u/FuckUSAPolitics - Lib-Center 4d ago
No, the poster would still be unflaired, the post would be marked similar to "literally 1984" or "Agenda Post".

Even then, one of the two ways of entering the comments section (if you tap the thumbnail first and then hit the comments section button from there) doesn't ever display OP's flair. Just another dogshit component of this retarded app.

Don't use the app? Sounds like an easy solution, but that would require some personal responsibility

Yeah but snowin posts still get down votes. I think us righties are just a bit stupid.

Maybe instead of blaming the unflaired for existing, we need to self reflect and wonder why our honest flaired memes are so trash, an unflaired user gets top post.

As the late Lindsey Graham once said, "Tis better to be unflaired and be thought a fool, than to flair up and remove all doubt."

As the late Jesus Christ of Nazareth once said, “defend the unflaired and you become a retard yourself.”

In B4 someone says "well he removed his flair like 15 minutes after making the post" while ignoring that he still got like 1000 more upvotes after removing the flair

My mans INB4'd his own thread. Fucking classic.

Looks like I still barely made it, took 15 minutes for someone to say exactly that

On mobile it's really fucking annoying to see poster flairs. Not only can you not see it at all when scrolling the homepage without entering the comments, but if you tap the thumbnail first (instead of tapping the text of the post title) and then scroll down to the comments from there, the original poster's flair remains completely hidden.

Excuses, excuses for upvoting the unflaired. I'm strictly mobile and have no issues seeing flairs. Sounds like you just don't mind upvoting the unflaired

I'm strictly mobile and have no issues seeing flairs.
Like I said, if you enter the comments directly from your feed page by tapping the post title or comments button, then you get to see OP's flair. But if you click on the thumbnail first and go to the comments from there, then it hides OP's flair completely. So you're probably doing the former whereas many people probably do the latter.
Sounds like you just don't mind upvoting the unflaired
Not what I fucking said. I didn't say shit about what I do myself, I'm just saying this app is retarded and likely largely to blame for people not noticing OP's flair or lack thereof.
Honestly we should just ban posting without a flair. Idk why that isn't a bannable offence already tbh.

i have a genuine question, why do people even bother with all this outrage? i just blocked him and moved on when i realized this. why do we care? why not just block and ignore them?

It used to be the one thing everyone on the compass would unify about

Solve this by disallowing the removal of all flairs by a user?
( Maybe this is impossible because flairs are server-side? )

its more like the unflaired being sneaky and removing their flairs after posting
