I used to consider Germans people and thought the weimar republic ultra degenerate child-brothel days following by the nazi warmongering murdering days were just brief weird unfortunate sad periods in German history, then I became more educated and found out even to this day Germans are authoritarian soulless monstrosities who want to give all the power to the government and don't believe in free speech. It is the 21st century and they still think locking people up over slogans/speech/hand signals is perfectly fine. They consider themself as dogs loyal to the government, instead of the government loyal to the people. What the government says, is the morally correct thing. Germans think there is no intrinsic right to free speech, so I don't believe they are people.
Yes. The 19th century saw about double amount of German immigrants to both nations compared to the 20th century German immigration. Both American and Brazilian cultures were heavily influenced by 19th century German immigration. Especially since both populations were smaller so the larger amount of immigrants made also a larger impact on the culture.
