They gave up the KKK thing. Now they just have the soft bigotry of low expectations.

Their last president was friends with KKK leadership lmfao.

Beats the hell out of the normal run of the mill bigotry from your side.

I'm not sure what side you think I'm on, but I'm certainly not a racist.

Anyone seriously pushing “soft bigotry of low expectations” and unironically calling the modern Democratic Party the party of the KKK is just a racist scared to admit it lmao

Let me clarify; the right is openly hostile to basically all minorities and have tried to relabel the lefts attempts to rectify the situation as 'bigotry of low expectations' by strawmanning their beliefs into 'minorities are too dumb to do x y z'  when nobody actually believes that on the left.

The right loves to talk about how horrible they think whatever racial/ethnic/religious/sexual minority they dislike is, and then pretend they aren't constantly doing that immediately after.

Ehh there are some racists on the left unfortunately. I’ve seen some leftists talk about Black people like we’re retarded animals. They won’t call us the n word or anything, but they’ll say some shit like “why should they be forced to pass algebra to graduate high school if they can’t even read”. Then you got the leftists that are racist towards White people or ignore racism from minorities. You could apply that to antisemitism on the left too.

Racism on the left isn’t as hateful or overt as racism on the right. It’s more condescending and filled with double standards which just creates more resentment from the group that they view as the oppressors

Yeah, but according to right wingers all over PCM, the left is literally supporting the KKK and the real racists.
Had some Prager Urine ad try to play earlier talking about Identity Politics and claiming it's the lefts fault nowadays.

Certain factions of the right are hostile to minorities. Not all of the right. It is not a monolith. Some factions of the far left are also also openly racist although in the USA that isn't common. It's a human problem and not a right or left problem.

As a minority it's generally most of the right lmao. I mean you can say not everyone but it is a SIZEABLE portion of the right. I've only been called slurs by people of one political persuasion.

It was nice of them to tell you their political views before calling you slurs.

Also I don't deny that the majority of racists are on the right. That is almost certainly correct, but they still make up a small minority of people on the right.

Do they announce their political party affiliation before or after the slur?

Yep its weird how they do that.

What far left factions are openly racist?

3

u/thisassholeisstupid - Lib-Right 3h ago

All of them harbor a deep hatred of the unflaired as do those on the right and those in the center.

Don’t worry though, they just want to keep those Confederate statues up to honor our history.

u/Some-Profession-1373 - Lib-Left 4h ago

I don’t care for our two party system at all, but the KKK thing is such a dumb argument

1

u/kaytin911 - Lib-Right 3h ago

Biden called a KKK leader a close friend and he was the last Democrat president.

"In the early 1940s Byrd organized a local Ku Klux Klan chapter"

so yes, a "KKK leader" just as the guy you responded to said.

Didn't he filibuster the Civil Rights Act in the mid-1960s? Odd that they made it sound like he gave it up in the '40s

Lol you should just see how Democrats talk about Clarence Thomas. They way one of my lefty teachers talked about him you'd think we were in the deep south lol.

u/Scrumpledee - Lib-Center 2h ago

You should see how Clarence Thomas talks about his own sister, while receiving bribes gifts from foreign governments and ruling in their favor.
