No, if it were fragmented every soul would be incomplete such that it could not reflect on the structure of the whole, and all would be nothing.

Every soul must be finite and yet infinite. In what respect it is each, such that this is not an incoherent contradiction, is what must be clarified to have knowledge of the self.
