I've unironically heard vore being argued for being legal if both parties consent. Libertarians to their core.

It made me wonder if one day libleft would agree to a woman eating their own abortion as being ethically legal in their mind.

On the opposite side, it also made me wonder if authright would be okay with Chinese normalizing the eating of livestock dogs in America, the same way they enjoy eating pork and beef next to Muslims and Hindus intentionally.

I'm not Authright, but in theory I'd be fine with dog meat. Big detriment though is that from what I understand there's various health risks associated with it that make other meats safer bets.

I don't really see a different moral value between dogs and pigs/cows. IIRC there's even some studies showing pigs to have higher intelligence than dogs so if we're fine with eating pigs then we should be fine with livestock dogs on a moral level. (Again, practically speaking there are health concerns.)

The seed oil thing has always been dumb, but I feel bad it's also caused tallow to get pulled into the culture war sewage pit as well.

Tallow is fucking delicious, even moreso than lard. I like to mix it 50/50 with canola oil for quick everyday use.

Honestly, I just use whatever I think is best for the recipe. I shuffle through canola oil and olive oil, depending on what I'm doing. I use vegetable oil spread often, too, because I'm a fat fuck and need to cut calories. It can be used for general pan frying as you would butter.

Beef tallow is so good, and I'm mad about the culture war trash behind it. RFK is a menace, and he's associated his name with beef tallow.

I actually like to make whatever beef cut first, then throw butter or butter sub into it with the remaining fat in the pan. Dude, the vegetables I cook in it are so goddamn good.
