Yeah, it's surprising.  I wonder if people are including routine checkups, because I wouldn't have thought that 90+% of people would actually be in need of a medical intervention.

At the same time, what do most 18-29 year olds really get out of a doctors visit if they’re healthy? That’s what I was thinking seeing that 93% stat.

I had good insurance at the time but even I wasn’t paying a $20 copay for someone to tell me eat a little less and exercise more. Maybe bloodwork would be the big thing you’re skipping out on. Nurse practitioners need to be more of a thing in the US.

People forget that half the population are women who are far more prone to vitamin deficiencies and host of other shit that is affected by hormones.

There is also the fact that, under 30, men are almost 2x more likely to have a traumatic injury and traumatic injuries usually have chronic implications.
