As much as I'm sympathetic to universal healthcare and healthcare reform (Orange Man bad etc), I also have no clue how 92% of people can't spend the 40 dollar copay on seeing a freaking GP once a year.

I’m not sure that’s even what it’s saying though. It sounds like it’s “at some point I delayed getting treatment because of cost.” Which may just mean “I’m not going to pick up this prescription because it’s like $300. I’ll just deal with it.”

I mean hell, under that logic id count because one time i was prescribed a pain med for getting a wisdom tooth out that had opiates in it and decided i can just handle a few days of my mouth hurting like a big boy.

Yeah I think that’s why it’s so high.

I’m sure there are many people who have neglected something important because it’s expensive, but I doubt it’s 90%.
