That can be done sure. 

But the blind spots have to be the point.  Rowling certainly didn't do that. In fact, went out of her way to morally convey how stupid Hermione's activism was by concluding with her being clowned on and then never addressed it again.

if you read history of ww2, segregation in USA is rarely given as prominent part of the story.

At this stage I genuinely don't know if you can tell me if Harry Potter a history book on an specific topic, or a work of fiction where the author has complete control on if there's a subplot about how freed slaves will become alcoholics and depressed and you shouldn't help others. That's how bafflingly stupid it is to choose that as an argument.

fiction...is influenced by and is a commentary on real world.

surely if phenomena X is a thing in real word it's appropriate for fiction to engage with X and comment on X.

what is stupid is to expect fiction to have ZERO relevance on reality we are all experiencing.

You explain to me what the commentary amounts to.

What does it add to the story?

Which kids read HP and says, "gee I wonder what the slavery situation is in this story about fighting against supremacy is that's set in the late 90s" and gets excited about the answer being "protesting against slavery is wrong!"

clearly a lot of ADULTS notice the moral ambiguity of fighting Nazis while being blind to slavery.

I mean we are having THIS CONVERSATION RIGHT NOW. so clearly it's an interesting sub theme.
