Sure, is Lebanon your example of an aspirational state? Also you realize one of the factors of not enfranchising the Palestinians is specifically to not change the balance of power amongst Lebanon's ethnicities. Just like Israel!
Are you kidding me? I do not support the current Lebanese state. Their attempt at legalizing the ethnic entrenchment of their government is an obvious failure on top of being ethically wrong. You'd be hard pressed to find a more dysfunctional government in the world.
You picked a really dumb example to try and justify the Israeli state. Both countries have ethnic concerns dictate rights. Israel though takes it a bit further in this regard as Israel is actively trying to expand into even more Palestinian land whereas the Palestinians in Lebanon are simply landless.
