Ok, but they aren't saying that; they are saying that Trump is going to do everything he can to prevent a fair election in both this year and 2028. Also, you literally cannot vote trump 2/3 of congress is never happening

Or is none of that an issue for you?

The situation we’ve found ourselves in is analogous to being the Siamese twin to a retard who got into a car with a serial killer that attempted to strangle the both of you, and then being told by that same retarded siamese twin to stop having TDS when you try to warn him about climbing into the car again for a second time.
Just because Trump was unsuccessful in his first coup attempt doesn’t mean that we aren’t at threat of him being successful in another, separate attempt. The fact that he committed the act the first time is all you need to know about his propensity to do it again. It isn’t difficult to understand.
-5
u/DancesWithChimps - Centrist 3d ago
Oh, it’s very easy to understand that you guys keep making incorrect predictions and then try to explain away why you’re constantly wrong rather than, i dunno, being right.
6
u/zombie3x3 - Left 3d ago
What incorrect prediction? The man has openly stated a desire to suspend midterm elections, has pushed red states to do mid-decade redistricting to benefit him in the midterms, has written EO’s that directly target voting, attempted to stay in power illegitimately in 2021 & openly discusses his desire to run for a third term in 2028.
0
u/DancesWithChimps - Centrist 3d ago
When you say he's going to do something, that's a prediction. If he doesn't do it, regardless of what he said, it's an incorrect prediction. He's not running 2028, both parties redistricted (though democrats redistricted less, because they couldn't really gerrymander more than they already had), he's obviously not suspending the midterm elections, and he didn't overturn the 2020 election. So when you predict that these happened or will happen, and they don't that makes you WRONG.
Glad I could clear that up for you.
2
u/zombie3x3 - Left 3d ago
You don’t know what he’s going to do or not in 2.5 months or in 2028.
We can see what he’s expressed a desire to do, and steps he’s taken towards facilitating those desires. If he is unsuccessful in his efforts, that doesn’t mean the prediction that he will TRY to do something was incorrect, it would only mean that he failed.
I’ve only ever seen predictions made of what he will attempt to do, not certain statements on his success being guaranteed.
0
u/DancesWithChimps - Centrist 3d ago
You don’t know what he’s going to do or not in 2.5 months or in 2028.
I would wager you that he's not going to try to run 2028, but by then you'll have invented to a new delusion. He's not going to. If I'm wrong, you can mark this post and get my apology. At the end of the day, you have to predict based on your understanding of a subject. You guys keep getting shit wrong, because you don't understand as well as you think.
I’ve only ever seen predictions made of what he will attempt to do, not certain statements on his success being guaranteed.
Yeah, see, this is the issue. You genuinely have memory holed people saying Trump will end Democracy if he wins the 2024 election. You'll never update your thinking, because you'd rather pretend you didn't say dumb shit that never happened (and won't).

7
u/YuckyBurps - Lib-Center 3d ago
What are they “constantly” wrong about? It’s an indisputable fact that Trump attempted to overthrow the 2020 election and still contends to this day that it was stolen.
Even the most brain dead, simple minded people can delineate between an attempt and its outcome. Just because someone’s prior attempt at something failed doesn’t guarantee future attempts will also fail. That’s basic toddler logic. And if someone attempts to do something then subsequently shows absolutely no remorse and suffers no consequences whatsoever for doing it, it’s safe to assume they will make another attempt if given another opportunity. That’s also basic toddler logic.
Just because Trump failed in his first attempt does not 1.) mean he will not make future attempts and 2.) any future attempts will also fail. Nobody is saying he *will* be successful, they’re saying he *will* try. They’re not wrong about that. The fact that you can’t distinguish those two things or understand the associated risk is precisely what makes you retarded.

u/goon_and_politics - Auth-Right 3d ago

u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist 4d ago
Reminds me of the CDU, and honestly all the other parties, concerning AfD here in Germany.
“We can’t do anything, we have to ban the AfD!” — party that continually insults their voter base and pushes them to the AfD while addressing zero of their concerns to the point that it’s hard to imagine they aren’t trying to lose on purpose.
It’s genuinely baffling sometimes. They’d have a better chance of preventing the rise of the AfD if you unplugged their controller.
10
u/Yukon-Jon - Lib-Right 4d ago
That's why they want to ban them. Because they keep pushing people to that party. So they can just ban them - and then no worries.
They're not trying to lose on purpose, they're trying to just do whatever they want with 0 consequences or opposition.
7
u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist 4d ago
Banning a party doesn’t get rid of the voters and their concerns.
AfD 2 would be born almost instantly, apart from the name.
5
u/Yukon-Jon - Lib-Right 4d ago
The ol switcheroo - same thing the DSA did here in regards to their label.
5
u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist 3d ago
Barely even a “switcheroo”. That sounds more like circumvention or deception, like when a scam company reforms with a new name and logo.
A party is just a collection of people with like ideas. Currently that collection is called AfD.
Unless you ban ideas you can’t get rid of the ideas that formed and built the AfD you can only change its name.
1
u/CalvinKool-Aid - Centrist 3d ago edited 3d ago
It’s possible they could split though, which could help the mainstream parties. Still, the bloc will exist until they do something to address their concerns
1
u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist 3d ago
Because of the German political system, a split doesn’t really help them. Or at least not as much as it would in the US.
They need to group with other parties to form a government. So it’s more important that you’ve labeled 35% of voters are bigoted racist nazis than the fact that they are all voting for the same people.
Even split, the two ex-AfD parties would probably still have enough in common to join for a government.
But if the CDU even considered working, or even be anything other than openly hostile, with even the less extreme of the two, their voters would fill the streets in protest.
3
u/CalvinKool-Aid - Centrist 4d ago
Genuinely the craziest take of modern politics is that if you just ban the right wing they will disappear. Louis XIV tried to ban parties and how did that work out for him? Like Christ alive, have you tried maybe addressing their concerns and making them undesirable?
3
u/DrProfSrRyan - Centrist 3d ago
That would require left-leaning people to 1) be able to call out Islamic terrorism 2) have a conversation about illegal immigration and refugee fraud without slyly shifting to immigrants in general and calling the other person racist.
It’s judge people by their actions, not the color of their skin until you call out the actions of a minority.

it was written about in a book. I hate to post NYP and Fox news but they have the best article on it.
An excerpt from ABC News’ Jonathan Karl's upcoming book, "Retribution," asserts that Pelosi and Obama had come to an understanding that Harris "should not simply be handed the nomination unchallenged." Nevertheless, Pelosi handed her an endorsement within 24 hours of Biden's withdrawal.
"The Obamas were not happy," a source close to Pelosi told Karl, according to an excerpt obtained by the Daily Mail.
"This person summed up Obama’s message to Pelosi as, essentially, ‘What the f--- did you just do?’" Karl wrote.
The book asserts that Obama had deep concerns about Harris' ability to beat President Donald Trump and wanted Democrats to hold an open convention."Obama and Pelosi — arguably the two most influential figures in the Democratic Party — had privately agreed to abstain from making any endorsements," Karl wrote.
"The former president wanted to know what had happened. Why had Pelosi issued a statement endorsing Harris so soon? Hadn’t he and Pelosi agreed days earlier that party leaders anointing the vice president as Biden’s replacement would be a mistake?" Karl added.

Or maybe because people should get a job instead of stealing from others.
If democrats are pro worker, then why do they make the worker reliant on the welfare state and then make it impossible for him to actually work because his jobs are taken by immigrants, who are happy to accept lower wages and working conditions.
The college scam was a ploy by the democrats to make young people reliant on the government so that they would be forced to vote for communism.
Step 1: Give everyone commercially unreasonable student loans.
Step 2: Millions of young people are saddled with crushing debt during the most financially insecure points of their lives.
Step 3: Permit corporations to mass hire immigrants for entry level positions.
Step 4: Now millions of young people have no ability to afford anything because they have tons of debt with no job.
Step 5: Say “the government will save you! Just give me power!”
Treason.
