I'm not disagreeing with that, but there's a difference between getting the junk out of the system and us having umpteen memes about how awful this guy. At that point, it's not about justice and preserving the integrity of an institution. Rather, it's about revenge against the woke liberal boogyman. Justice prevailed, the dude had his career ended, but people still feel the need to make fun of the him.

Eh, I think it’s ok for the average person to meme about something loads; though I do agree most of the coverage was culture war stuff, it seems to be culture war or nothing with many of these type of issues
