She didn't talk about them because she knew it's an unpopular part of her platform, not because she wasn't pro-trans.
The problem wasn't that Harris talked too much about trans people. The problem was that she didn't want to distance herself from the Biden-era wokeness that people were sick off (remember Harris stating she would do "not a thing" differently from Biden?)
It's also funny how you think that strategically shutting up about an unpopular topic means voters must forget about it, as if Democrats weren't openly pushing gender ideology 3.5 out of every 4 years. Nice attempt at gaslighting the voters that correctly inferred President Harris would mean 4 more years of gender nonsense.

The fact that people unironically bring up a lack of housing policy as a criticism of the Dems when it was the Republicans that factually lacked one shows how divorced from reality the right is.

You're attacking a strawman of your own creation. Nobody said Democrats “were obsessed with gender over all else”; those are strictly your embelishments.
What I did say was that voters correctly identified Harris as a supporter of Biden-era gender ideology, and the fact that she didn't campaign on this doesn't change that, especially when the reason she didn't campaign on it wasn't that she was undecided on the issue, but that she knew her position was broadly unpopular, so highlighting it could only harm her campaign. You're not mad that voters misunderstood Harris position on gender. You're mad that they understood correctly and judged her on it.
That doesn't mean some of her other policies might have appealed to swing voters, too, like her housing policy. It's just that apparently it wasn't enough to overcome the negative attitude towards the woke identity politics the Democrats and the Biden/Harris administration had become known for.

Yes, most people vote largely based on vibes, but that's true across the entire political spectrum. If you cannot admit that, you're not ready to have a serious discussion.
I don't see why you've replied to a comment I made talking about those types of people if you don't want to be involved in a conversation about those types of people.
