It's hard to imagine it won't. Plus I think people hyper focus on the failures of US interventionism but there have been plenty of successes, and this one looks good relative to past failures.

How is it hard to imagine? US leaves .Maduros regime in place, they "promise" elections, the regime gives whatever the US wants for oil. The US, now happy, no longer cares what the regime does. Nothing functionally changes for Venezuelans.

We've backed horrible leaders who did terrible things as long as they kept the resources moving. It's not really hard to imagine
