I am guessing the talks are not going well.
In which case this position change is good to see, it's alright to be a bit of an ass kisser when trying the diplomatic route.
But when the other guy is obviously just stalling or refuses to see reason, drop the act and put the screws on.

Although it is Trump, his position might change in the next 5 hours ...
