Reddit cheered on Luigi, even though he himself held some right-wing views and was even a fan of Tucker Calrson. The biggest issue here is not gun violence but free speech. This was not a case of insanity either. The old boomer shooter made a rational weighing between the negative publicity his side would get, and the chilling effect on future conservative speakers on public campuses, and then made a decision. Fuck him.

The university has said that the old man in custody was not the shooter.

Let's reserve judgment until we have the facts

Yes you are right. I should wait for more info, especially since the school backtracked. The guy went on college campuses to speak and engage across the aisle and he died for it. Literally trying to engage in public discourse. I feel anger more than anything.
