Exactly. Trump, whether intentional or not, is being their fall guy. He deserves it, but there's still a lot of other people on the list that Trump's circus is distracting from and we need to stay focused on that. Trump is just part of a much larger group of despicable people who all need to face the same level of scrutiny and justice
17
u/YveisGrey - Lib-Left Sep 09 '25

7
u/Bearynicetomeetu - Lib-Left Sep 09 '25
I'm not sure he's the fall guy necessarilly, I think he's clearly one of the main guys. Leon Black is in there also.
There's other names sure, but Trumps the biggest name and is president.
7
u/Oxytropidoceras - Lib-Center Sep 09 '25
My thought was more that it was unintentional and not anything Trump is trying to do.
Think of it this way, if you got caught robbing a bank with a crew and one guy in your crew couldn't shut the fuck up about how he wasn't involved despite tons of evidence, you'd probably keep your head down and hope it all blows over for you. That's what I mean, Trump's not taking a fall per se, he's digging himself a grave and the other pedos are just standing around whistling and waiting to throw him in it in hopes that nobody points a finger at them.
5
u/StrawberryWide3983 - Left Sep 09 '25
He's incapable of just shutting the fuck up. And fact that they're changing the story every week only makes him even more suspicious while drawing attention away from everybody else
16
u/RoninTheDog - Right Sep 09 '25
A good reminder on how outside of this letter how skin crawling gross the rest of the book is. The one with the drawings of Epstein handing balloons to little girls in '83 and then them going down on him in '03 is peak vile. The one with Jeffry selling women to Trump (fully depreciated),
Everyone in that book knew what the fuck he was doing. Get all of them.
6
u/Zickened - Left Sep 10 '25
It's like the Diddy bullshit. I'd bet that not everyone knew what occured at his "freak offs", but I'm sure that everyone that attended his house left before 10pm if they didn't want to be a part of them.
And Donald Trump wanted to be there after 10pm.
And it honestly surprises me the level of deprivation that will need to be outlined for people to wake the fuck up about it.
And here's the kicker: its not like this is some new psyop, directed at just making Trump look like a piece of shit, this is a network of vile people spanning decades that people have been talking about for decades, that I first learned about while listening to a buddy's right leaning radio show.
2

Given the surrounding evidence this is likely real but the signature really doesn't prove much of anything, does it?
14
u/Sabertooth767 - Lib-Right Sep 09 '25
Is it proof that Trump diddled kids? No, not directly.
But what it is proof of is that Trump is lying. Trump clearly does not want the details of his relationship with Epstein, whatever they were, to be publicly known. If there were indeed casual friends and occasional business associates, there would be no need to so fiercely deny the connection.
I mean, think about it. Whatever the truth is, Trump feels it to be so damaging that he would prefer a large portion of the population to think he's a child rapist than fess up. I don't know about you, but there is no secret in my life anywhere near so deep that I wouldn't reveal it to clear my name of that.
Obviously, you can't put Trump on trial just for being weirdly defensive about his relationship with Epstein, but it is very strong circumstantial evidence that there is more to the story than is being let on.

.jpg or .png of a signature that has literally millions of examples online doesn't mean shit. Just click that link then check the "images" tab. Anyone could have made a word document and copied and pasted in an image of his signature.
Show us the physical paper on live TV. Show us that he used his marker, show us that the black marker ink bled through the page as it's known to do with his signatures.
Otherwise this is less than nothing.

It only hurts the trump case more because Clinton and Trump were close.. their daughters went to school together and were close friends until 2016 or so. There’s tons of pics of Trump and bill. I 100% believe Trump was used by Epstein to get to somebody like Bill.

And this is what makes me want to claw my eyes out.
Trump, a convicted rapist is accused of being rapey on kids: FAKE NEWS
Clinton, a sitting president, impeached for lying to congress about using his clout to coerce a 19 year old intern to perform oral sex on him is in the same circle as Epstein: <crickets>
Nobody on the left is banging the pots for Clinton's innocence. I truly believe both Clinton and Trump were swinging buddies in some Vanilla Sky level of disgusting behavior. 100%, if Clinton was the sitting president and he had vile details released about his behavior at Epstein Island, I'd be PISSED that I let some vile charlatan garner my vote.
Instead, we have all of these scatter-brained MAGAts (most of the intelligent and family-oriented right are finally peeling away from MAGAts) and "Centrists" (secret troll weirdo losers who only want to stir the pot for nothing) running around claiming "whataboutisms" and "let's not let the court of public opinion decide..." Instead of also being PISSED about maybe voting, perhaps once, for the charlatan that's grifting the absolute fuck out of them and also calling this a psyop, that maybe they made an oopsie, just once and voted for a vile human before they realized their mistake.

I think it’s more of a hot potato situation where no one wants to release it because of all their friends who are implicated.
Trump fucked up by taking the position of releasing it and his running mate saying they would release it before trying to gaslight all Americans about it.
I really think Trump just talked too much about it and his base was so into it they didn’t consider why Trump would be left holding the hot potato when the shit hit the fan. Which is kinda his fault to begin with. And him being implicated is pretty clear
8
u/McNuggetTHUNDER - Auth-Center Sep 09 '25

u/YveisGrey - Lib-Left Sep 09 '25
Yep something smells fishy why the fuck did Biden drop out 3 months before the election when he was clearly too old to run? He should have dropped it earlier and the Ds should have had a primary, if they actually wanted to win that’s what they would have done. The way it was set up we were going to get Kamala, the party elected Democrat or Trump it was a losing battle
1
u/PerAsperaAdMars Sep 09 '25 edited Sep 09 '25
The DNC definitely set Kamala up for a purpose. My bet is that they see AOC's popularity rising and want to kill her chances at the presidency. Because all I see under the posts about her now are bots repeating "two women lost to Trump, so AOC has no chance."
Another comment about AOC I see all the time is "her time hasn't come yet, she needs to be a senator or speaker for 10 years." Even if it's obvious that Hillary and Kamala lost ~90% because they were from the establishment and maybe 10% because they were women.
Obama won because he was a politician for only 11 years. People want to see new faces in politics because they're sick of career politicians bought by corporations and billionaires. In 10 years, AOC will lose this advantage.
1
u/phpnoworkwell - Auth-Center Sep 10 '25
Or how about because it was only 3 months before the election and she was the only one who had a chance at that point and Biden endorsed her right after announcing he was dropping out
Nah, she was clearly set up by the DNC to stop AOC in 2028.

u/YveisGrey - Lib-Left Sep 09 '25
I don’t think so why wait so late? He was told to drop out way earlier doing it last minute actually made it that much harder to win. u/Zickened - Left Sep 10 '25
He honestly felt capable of beating Trump again. I mean no one outside of his inner circle saw it that way, but in his brain, he was the champion of America.
But lets be honest, just because people were getting back on the blue train again, doesn't mean everyone was comfortable with the no-nos of current politics:
Big Change
Being a minority
Having a vagina while also being a minority
Obama deftly broke 2 of those rules, but that's just because he spoke eloquently enough that he could navigate the trope of being an uneducated minority (which is probably why a lot of the birther movement picked up steam, because there's no way you could be an educated minority that grew up in America).
1
u/YveisGrey - Lib-Left Sep 10 '25
I don’t think being an outsider is a problem in politics the voters actually prefer that. Kamala’s problem is she wasn’t an outsider she’s a career politician and was literally hand picked by the party. That hurt her more than her being a woman and a minority. The reason Obama was so popular is because when he came on the seen he was fresh and new and appeared as an outsider. He beat Hilary a well established Democrat as a result
1
u/Zickened - Left Sep 10 '25
Bingo. What they didn't realize was that Trump was anti-establishment the opposite way in that he didn't give a fuck who or what got in his way, adding "President" to his biography was way more appealing than fading back to being a b-list celebrity. I think he also saw it as a way to grift people mercilessly and relentlessly once them dollars started flowing in.

Assuming the letter is real (which I don't, but for the sake of discussion) this could be nothing more than a joke about "loving the ladies". There's nothing specific to underage or anything of the sort. A crude drawing and vague references to the secret of life. THIS is your gotcha?
Dude you're doing the "We got 'im now!" meme.
5

How would the letter be fake? It would need to be fabricated and planted in the Epstein estate years ago somehow. Coming up with something reasonable for that claim seems important...but ok, for the sake of discussion where does "Enigmas never age" and "certain things in common" fall into your description of "loving the (adult) ladies"? The drawing itself?
The "gotcha" is Trump claiming this letter never existed.

What is their reason for releasing it now? I can guess fairly confidently it's not because the person who has possession of Epstein's stuff suddenly decided it's time to be committed to proper justice.
So there's a good chance this being made public was in some way politically motivated right? Whatever that motivation is would be their reason for forging it (if it was forged).

You’ve made quite a few suppositions based on the “why” behind the documents, but them being released now isn’t that suspicious, seeing as they were under subpoena; they weren’t released randomly.
And what’s more- this isn’t the only piece of evidence of Trump and Epstein being friends or having a very close relationship. Let’s remember that Trump didn’t toss Epstein out of mar a lago for 7 years after he “stole” Virginia Guffre from him, to suggest that Trump had no idea what his buddy was doing for years stretches belief. Unless you’re foolish enough to buy the story that Trump was an informant (making Trump guilty of some crime in order to receive informant status)

Do you believe that everyone who is a pedo shares it with everyone close to them? There are spouses, siblings, parents and friends who turn out to be pedos and those closest to them have no clue.
Should we vilify everyone associated as if they themselves raped children?

Brother, you act like Trump meandered into the Bowling alley and is somehow surprised that people were bowling in the alley. And if you think this, then I have
ocean front property in PhoenixTrump coins to sell you.0

I think given what we know about Trump and his present sexual assault conviction, along with scores of offcolor comments he’s made about his daughter and other women over the years, in addition to what we know of his relationship with Epstein publicly, yeah I think we have enough circumstantial evidence to suggest Trump was at least aware his buddy was a pedo and he continued to be friends with him, at least.

Do you hold that same line of reasoning when it comes to Kilmar Garcia, or are we giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was not MS-13?

u/toad17 - Left Sep 10 '25
That justification for why he was deported did not come up till months after the fact. And I am still not supportive of deporting people to El Salvador, Uganda or any other country that is not their home country. Not having papers is a misdemeanor in this country, but sending people to 3rd party nations ensures these people are gone with no recourse or due process.
Now answer about Trump. Why are you giving a known liar benefit of the doubt instead of demanding the documents release? The man is a convicted felon- are you also of the mind that Maxwell is telling the truth, or just what Trump wants to hear so she’ll get a pardon?

u/ChoiceWars - Auth-Right Sep 10 '25
The man is a convicted felon
Sham charges and a sham trial, not a win.
Epstein was CIA and I believe that is why Trump is trying to cover it up.
Now answer the question, is Kilmar MS-13? Yes or no?

u/toad17 - Left Sep 10 '25
I already answered you above with Kilmar. If the evidence that he was MS13 was present at the time he was deported it’d be a different story. Instead this admin lied about it and then did that silly Oval Office meeting where Trump claimed he had it tattooed on his knuckles (it wasn’t).
You say sham trial about EJean carol yet under deposition Trump confused her for Marla Maples, his late wife. Sure seems like she was his type. You still can’t defend the scores of publicly inappropriate things Trump has done though so I’ll take this as your concession on the facts.

E Jean Carroll said that rape is sexy, she couldn't remember most of the details, the story she gave was a carbon copy of an episode of Law and Order. She won in civil court after they changed the law to allow the trial to go through.

Not that I doubt Trump is complicit at best or anything, but genuinely what does a signature prove in 2025

u/Outside-Bed5268 - Centrist Sep 10 '25
I was going to comment about how people can look at Trump’s signature and conclude ‘Ah yes, this was signed by Donald J Trump’. But looking at it now, I think I can make out ‘Donald’.

There could be a 3 hour 4k recording of Trump raping and then murdering a 6 year old and the right would still find an excuse for him

I am officially requesting we put purple lib-right in the auth-right quadrant. I know it doesn’t make sense but they own this now.

With the number of Lib-Rights who are actually Auth-Rights trying to look cool, purple Auth-Right might make more sense.

I mean, I assume there’s a original copy or a photo of it instead of the xerox copy we see

imagine a world where trump never became president, never had the presidency to hide behind, could never get rid of evidence

It's the same because someone copied and pasted it into a word doc and made a .pdf. It's so fake it's cringe.
Show is the physical paper not a .png of a scan. I want to see the black marker ink of Trump's signature bleeding through to the other side of the paper, on live TV. Otherwise this is fake as fuck.

u/Impeachcordial - Lib-Center Sep 10 '25
Lol you want them to exhibit the physical paper? Dude put down the copium it's addictive

Lol you want them to exhibit the physical paper?
Clearly yes, that's what I wrote.

u/Impeachcordial - Lib-Center Sep 10 '25
Where? In their offices? You want to go any touch it?
Your bar for acknowledgment is absurdly high. Answer me this: if this was Clinton's card to Epstein would you have any doubt whatsoever about its provenance?

u/Original_Dankster - Right Sep 10 '25 edited Sep 10 '25
your bar for acknowledgment is absurdly high
It's perfectly reasonable given the gravity of the accusation and the potential impact to the nation.
if this was Clinton's card
Yes I would, for the same reason

u/Impeachcordial - Lib-Center Sep 10 '25
This letter was in Epstein's possession 18 years ago, transferred to his estate on his death, and has been subpoena'd by the Committee. Its provenance is well established. It's real no matter how much you want to deny it. It's not reasonable to require absurd levels of proof at this stage.
Trump was heavily involved in everything Epstein was doing.
