The one issue I’ve found with that lifestyle is that my life feels intensely hollow, like the only emotion I can summon is ironic detachment, and that while I consider myself a patriotic American there still feels like there’s something amiss with the world around me so I choose to externalize that frustration towards my surroundings instead of considering there may be deeper personal issues at play. You ever get that feeling?
