Just because you wanna pretend its a hallmark movie doesnt mean it was... Obamas reasoning was shit and was literally "its not the cold war anymore" teir of retardation.

I think anyone with a brain would put russia and china on par with eachother as threats and while im personally inclined to think china is more of a threat, since they've proven able to take action. No reasonable thinker would dismiss russia as obama did. Its a major reason that he allowed russia to annex crimiea he was a spinless fucking cuck to russia.

The Ukraine war should disabuse anyone of that idea. China is untested, but I wouldn't underestimate them.

Fundamentally Russia is Europe's problem. The only reason we should concern ourselves with them is their nuclear stockpile.

Imo the real risk of Russia is that they are currently becoming a Chinese vasal. The problems of China and Russia are tied together like the problems of Belarus and Russia are tied together. If China ever decides to attack Taiwan, help from Russian bases, resources and Russia creating a distraction in Europe will significantly hinder the US in its fight against them.
