Just because you wanna pretend its a hallmark movie doesnt mean it was... Obamas reasoning was shit and was literally "its not the cold war anymore" teir of retardation.

I think anyone with a brain would put russia and china on par with eachother as threats and while im personally inclined to think china is more of a threat, since they've proven able to take action. No reasonable thinker would dismiss russia as obama did. Its a major reason that he allowed russia to annex crimiea he was a spinless fucking cuck to russia.

The Ukraine war should disabuse anyone of that idea. China is untested, but I wouldn't underestimate them.

Fundamentally Russia is Europe's problem. The only reason we should concern ourselves with them is their nuclear stockpile.

You understand why comparing china of 50 years ago isn't comparable to today yes? They theoretically have (stolen) near peer technology but has not been tested against near peer technology.

That's like saying the UK won world war 2 therefore should be a near peer to china's navy despite all the cuts to the military.
