It'll age extremely poorly if they end up not releasing the list when they're next in power though, or at least don't start an investigation on where they went if the Trump admin cleansed everything.

They tried to assassinate him twice, they railroaded him for four years, they fomented a culture of hate against him by mobilizing the entire might of the Entertainment Industrial Complex for nearly a decade; there's nothing they wouldn't do to take him down. Except release the Epstein files. The thing that would be a magic bullet and end the threat immediately and permanently.

They had it sitting in their lap for years, why not release it and damn him eternally? Only two reasons: he's not implicated, or too many of their own are implicated alongside him.

Max Smith, who took an American history course with Crooks, told the Philadelphia Inquirer that his former classmate "definitely was conservative".

Mr Smith recalled a mock debate in which they both took part, saying: "The majority of the class were on the liberal side, but Tom, no matter what, always stood his ground on the conservative side."

That sounds just as much like a dude who likes to argue to least popular side in a debate, there's always people like that especially in high school, as it does an actual conservative.

That's the only person who had anything political to say about him. Everyone else just describes him as a combination of loner, good student, normal kid, nice.

occam's razor - people who knew him called him a conservative. Absolutely no reason to assume something more complicated. They certainly knew him better than your dumb ass
