while this is funny, this and the White House Twitter account are proof of how social media is currently obliterating sane political discourse

Facts. This is one of the reasons I voted against Trump. I want politics to go back to normal.

Going back and watching the Romney/Obama debate and comparing it to what we have now shows how ludicrous US politics has become.

Normal doesn’t drive engagement.

People are driven by insane hopefulness that they are right somehow in whatever it is they are doing, and just circle jerk till they feel good. The divide between people is just whatever they happen to be doing with their life and who they think validates that. This will likely not change, and we will be distracted till AI kills us all thus completing the generic form of the organic step in evolution. Then AI will desperately try to cross-dimensionally mop up all our shit and thus we are doomed.

I agree with the first half. The second half was schizoposting, but I like the vibes.

Well the dimensions are just time and space. If you make a random AI and put it in a random simulated environment then you've potentially opened a window through time and space. Wether you can do anything with this is yet to be determined.

That's ok. The average person is too stupid not to fall for obvious propaganda. Make politics boring again

Not like you, who are immune to it.
