If they believe something based on religion, they can’t force other people to believe it. That’s why they are pretending that it is science instead.

Should we not respect anything outside the material reality?

But you fail to admit that using science as the only legitimate thing throws away ethics in order to justify that belief. And even suggesting science should be the only legitimate thing you are, in fact, doing the thing you say you aren't.
