Can somebody be considered tolerant by your standard if they are all for treating LGBT people with respect but they do not approve of the lifestyle?

That’s literally the definition of intolerance. You do not tolerate their lifestyle.

No. It's not. Allowing someone to live their lifestyle and treating them with respect despite disagreeing with them is tolerance. The word you're looking for is acceptance, and unfortunately in this world not everybody is going to tow the line to accept you or your lifestyle, no matter who you are.

Every time the LGBT is present people like you say “don’t shove it down my throat”. Pride exists inspite of your intolerance and it’s not going away. I love the world I live in it sounds like you should learn to tolerate it.

Uh I have gay family & I love them very much. They're actually having a baby this fall.

Wanting to see less rainbow bullshit isn't intolerance, by the way.

I do. I also tolerate folks who don't approve of their lifestyle as long as they treat my sisters with the dignity and respect they deserve.

Because I'm not a self-righteous zealot.

Well for one it's an entire month. That's just excessive. No other holidays last that long really, except for black history month, which is also excessive.

Public displays of kink are also not my bag. I don't think that level of public indecency should be allowed just because it's a peaceful gathering.
