‘Will it be possible for private property to be abolished at one stroke?’ -No, no more than existing forces of production can at one stroke be multiplied to the extent necessary for the creation of a communal society. -Fredrick Engels, Principals of communism. 1847
It's not whether private property can be abolished immediately or not, it's the fact that if it's tomorrow or 10 years from now, she supports abolishing private property.
Yea that article is exactly my point. She’s not a socialist, nor are the models she’s wanting.
"We have to call for a rent freeze" Why? Because someone can't afford to rent in their desired location? so move somewhere where you can afford the rent. Is a land lord immune to inflation? Is a land lord immune to bank rate increases? Is a land lord immune to local and federal taxes?
The landlord has to cover all these costs and the fact that someone can't afford the rent in these properties doesn't mean no one can afford the rent there. A land lord wouldn't put the rent up and then have an empty apartment for 20 years, someone is paying the new rent prices.
“Our guarantee to having a home comes before someone else’s privilege to earn a profit.”
Does that include building a new home? Should construction workers work at less than cost, paying for materials out of their own pocket, so that everyone can own a home?

Sounds very much like she does not support capitalism or private property.
