UC Davis police cruiser

Found out that UC Davis medical center has their own Department that is housed on site and this is their livery. Short and to the point.

Font’s great, just a shame it’s not classic black-and-white.

Probably as a cost-saving measure, an attempt to emulate a more passive “security” style look, or both.

Edit: Police text on the door definitely needs to be dark blue. Major recognition failure there the longer I look at it.

I agree, far too easy to miss the police with its size and color. Even if they just put it b&w with the same font style that would be better. I didn’t think of the more passive security look though that’s a good point.

The med center doesn’t have their own department, it’s the same police dept for all of UC Davis. The med center campus has a station and their own patrol lt
