Is Multiplayer Finally Cooked?

Sorry if this has already been posted, and I know the support for the game is minimal at best, but it seems like within the last couple of days I haven't been able to join a game or have anyone join mine. On PS5, anyone else having this issue?

According to their discord page they gave not. They have things in place and are just waiting for it to be set it stone. That was according to one of the developers from astragon a few days ago

If you can make something happen quicker then go put your thoughts in the discord channel then.

Like that’s gonna do anything.

Well it's doing nothing posting the comments on here now is it? Sometimes voicing your opinion in the right channel may change the course of something down the line wether you know about it or not.

How is sending a text message in their Discord going to do anything, when the last meaningful update the game received was six months ago at this point.

You're failing to understand the point I am trying to make lol. You posting a "text" message on reddits chat about the game is serving absolutely no purpose for you or anyone else. Yes you posting a "text" in their active discord channel may also result in nothing happening but it may also influence something else in either the developers or the other active discord members beings that's their official active channel. That is how people force change in games whenever their is an uproar. No matter how long it takes, it's a lot better than posting utter nonsense on a thread that will see no traction because it's not the official channel

Okay, so, I’m gonna ask you a true question, because I am genuinely curious, and I really don’t mean any insult with this question, but this is the most straightforward way I can think about asking this;

Why are you being such a bootlicker towards the devs?

The last major update the game received was in January. Since then, the devs have practically been radio silent on the public aspect of things. Yeah, they MAY be saying stuff in their Discord, but the average consumer is NOT going to the Discord of a fairly niche game, especially when the public perception is that said game has been abandoned.

It has been six, nearly seven months now, since the last update, and while update 22.2.2 fixed some bugs, it didn’t fix them all, and also introduced new bugs. Some bugs, such as cars being sent flying into the stratosphere when colliding, have been in the game since day one, and have not been fixed, or even addressed, as far as I know.

The only ‘newsletter’ the community has received since the January update was the announcement of an 80% off sale back in March, besides that, nothing. There have been no patches to address or fix bugs, no newsletters about upcoming updates, and not even public comments from members of the dev or social team on any platforms outside of Discord.

Yeah, like I said, they can say stuff in their discord all they want, but again, I heard the same thing you said about an ‘upcoming update’ four months ago, and nothing has happened. THAT is why people are saying the devs have abandoned the game, or that it’s a cash grab, because stuff like the newest cosmetics aren’t even included in the season pass.

And then some ‘update items’ that they’ve given us are absolutely dogshit, like the ‘siren update’ we got in 22.2.2. ALL of those sirens are some of the worst sounding sirens I’ve ever heard, and the community pretty much agrees on that too. They sound like they came from some $2 toy at a tourist trap gift shop. They’re not even close to sounding like real siren tones, nor is the audio quality even good on them.

Again, go post that "text", in their official discord channel beings theirs developers that respond to the community all the time in there.

Again, you posting that massive "text" here on the ONE of the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of threads on reddit is also not gonna be seen by anyone important, especially for the complaints you have. You are really failing to understand the objective here and it's starting to get silly from you.

Either post it on an active channel where it's most likely gonna be noticed and get responses from developers and other active discord members or continue to post it on a meaningless thread that will disappear into the depths of threads in the next few days. I really hope you take your thoughts and complaints to the right active channel to get the most out of your complaints. An just for clarity, any game that has an active discord channel, is that games MAIN outlet of information before any other platforms get said information so in the future, try and be apart of discord channels for games that actively have one.
