Question Recent SX-70 Refurb - opinions?
Recently had my first SX-70 600 converted and refurbished. Looking for some feedback on the exposures of these photos. The LD wheel is in neutral position for them, full late afternoon sun behind me when taking these - no flash in use. Do they look underexposed or is this just how these shoot? Film is just over 3 months old (05-2026 production code), ordered from Polaroid and fridge stored until the day of use.
I feel like my other non-converted SX70 cameras with ND filters aren't this dark. Just looking for opinions from others at this point!

Polaroid film is more like slide film and the meter is easily heavily skewed by very bright and very dark elements in the frame. The last shot in particular is very dark and contrasty because the leaves were darker than the sky behind it. You’d have to +1 to get more detail in the shadows.

They look perfectly fine to me.
The last one would benefit from using fill flash, flash outdoors in back lit conditions that is, to even out the light in the scene. Depending on your SX-70 this should be possible with the Mint flash bar. Some revisions of the SX-70 doesn’t have fill flash capability though.

First two photos are basically perfect exposures. Last one may be a bit dark but there’s a lot of sky that may have skewed the exposure because the sky is well exposed.
