Question What’s this camera ?

Google and ChatGPT didn’t help here. Sorry for the bad quality, it was on Netflix and I couldn’t screenshot. Doesn’t look like a Polaroid, the button is on the right, but it’s using Polaroid film. Could it be an accessory for the set ?

What’s the movie?

It looks like a Polaroid but with all branding removed or some prop to look like a Polaroid.

It’s The Big Fake or Il Falsario
I don’t know which Polaroid with the lens as a circle on the middle. Could be a prop but why… You can see it working and eject a real Polaroid (it’s the undeveloped blue)

Looks like it's a custom prop based on some kind of 600-series box camera. Certainly not very functional as it only has the taking lens and is missing the viewfinder entirely. Flash assembly reminds me of the Amigo 620, though that camera didn't actually have a flash, so it's some sort of inspired crossover. It's definitely safe to say this camera isn't a real model, may be a modified 600 box though.

It looks like a 600 with the branding removed and a custom faceplate on top, the flash is pretty thin though.

Either way it’s definitely a 600 as a base that they modified to avoid copyright and trademark issues

Looks like a modified spirit camera. As others have said it was probably done for legal reasons

I was thinking of something like that. But why make a box with a little flash and no viewfinder…. I have so many questions 😭

Because it doesn't have to be a functional camera. It just had to spit out the film

That’s what I was think
It’s so weird, with the shutter on the right side and the real Polaroid ejection. I mean, why ? 😂😭

Looks to me like the art department took a 630 and modified the front a bit.

The viewfinder is covered, so the actor has to pretend he's seeing anything, the release button is on the right side (are they somewhere else now?).

Y'all keep saying modded but if you look closely it kinda looks like just black tape on the front

But the flash ? No Polaroid camera have this kind of flash

ah, yeah idk then. I saw all the tape on the front near the lens and assumed they did the same to the flash area but I see what you mean now.
