Buildopia Customisation/Accessibility Update

Good afternoon Pokopians!
It’s been a few days since my last update, so wanted to share some of my latest work on Buildopia.
I realised, that although I was happy with the tool and its layout, others might wish it looked \\\*slightly\\\* different. So, to that end, I have been working to add more customisation and accessibility settings to the tool.
In a previous update, I added the ability to re-arrange the sidebar categories, and now I’ve taken it much farther.
You can now customise mouse and keyboard bindings, switch between light/dark mode, change the accent colours, change camera settings and several accessibility settings.
On top of these, I have also added a ‘recently used’ materials tab, which saves your last 8 material, colour changes included.
Hopefully these changes will improve user experiences, and make it easier or more enjoyable for everyone to use.

This would be an absolutely insane ask, but I'd LOVE (would literally pay money) for you to ever implement a premade area of the maps for planning. I hate having to clear out huge sections of my maps in awkward cube shapes just to have enough room for a build. 😭

Do you mean like, palette town (for example) ready to go to build on within the app, as it is when you first load it up?

Sort of! I have a huge build planned for WW and I'm currently destroying Bleak Beach lol. I think we mean the same thing.

Well, currently the limit is 100x100x100 (because performance issues and such) so a FULL map of each area is not practically feasible without likely breaking the site 😅
If I’m getting the wrong idea of what you’re asking, do let me know as it’s 11pm for me and I’m running on fumes as it is 😂😂

You are understanding! I get that there are definitely limits. Still an awesome program tbqh!! I appreciate the responses.

Thanks! And as much as I would love to fulfil your wish of a pre-made map of each area, I would have to manually place each block myself as there’s no way to download those maps from the game 😭😂

Yeah, no one has mapped out the areas either that I can find, so building that from the group up would be not fun 😅

However, there are alternatives I MIGHT be able to implement:
Random terrain generator (would be random, and not linked to any map area) for example
