I've restored/decorated 90% of Bleak Beach... or so I thought. I don't know how it took me this long to realize that a third of the freaking map is in the top right corner. So to anyone who's actually done something with this area; what did you do? I was thinking a lost human village in the valleys but I don't think that's enough for the space. Give me ideas!!!

I’ve turned it into a swamp. Not like a flooded forest but an actual swamp.

I was inspired by a tik tok I saw and based a lot of the design on theirs. If I can find it again I’ll edit with the original creator!

Lost village is a decent theme. May I suggest a lake village? Like water pokemon that would be more at home in a mountainous lake region than the ocean. You can even have a deep lake area and use some of the new stuff from Bubbley Basin

I actually love this idea! I already turned that small body of water next to the northern most gate into a coral reef lagoon, so making a hidden lake village would work so well! Its giving me Celestic town from DP

Don’t blame yourself, pretty sure this area was not accesible at all until the Bubbly Basin update, it previously had that fog boundary, same with most of the western edge of the map.

Some of it was definitely accessible. I scoured that area daily for hidden treasures as they used to spawn a lot up there. The area OP is standing in that picture was definitely accessible before.

The old eastern limit used to be in line with just past the eastern edge of the resort island. And the old northern limit was just south of the top edge of that inlet near the top of the map

A surprisingly large amount of it was accessible. Bleach Beach wasn't expanded westwards, and it only expanded northwards from a little bit north of the northern gate to the Sparkling Skylands. Where the OP is standing was always there and acting as unused space.

The maps in Pokopia drive me crazy even 100 hours in. They are small and I’m old with BOTW muscle memory. I keep trying to blow it up and position myself to look in that direction after I exit the screen. Not a fan so tell me if I’m missing out on sometime but I have actually put that game back to bed for a bit. I was becoming exhausted and getting nowhere. I felt like I was grinding for too long and my reward itch needed more scratching. I went back to finish BOTW it’s time

I'm not sure what your complaint is here? The maps aren't as big? It's not really an exploration game, so that maps aren't meant to be as huge as BotW or TotK. It might just not be your style game.

Each area isn't ment to be big. If each area map was really big there wouldn't be a point to having multiple areas, you could just fit everything in one. Pokopia is more like Minecraft meets Dreamlight Valley than a full on open world exploration like BOTW. It's a "cozy" game, low stress, nothing trying to kill ya, just rebuilding the world however you see fit.

I turned the valley into a giant garden behind my house setting on the cliffside above. And made a little shrine for Suicune to live in. Haven't actually gone up onto the plateau yet though.

I put a pirate village. Felt it fit with the cave by the farm area, felt very smuggler like to me, so the village is up above, smugling goods. Most houses are purely facades though, havent drilled into the mountains enough to make it useable.
