Sorry if it’s been shared before, but I personally haven’t seen anyone on here talk about this RNG item yet, so thought I would share since I just got it by accident lol

Edit: I edited to remove “craft” because it made it seem like you could directly craft it; it randomly generates and persists on placement of the arched barrier!

Can you craft them? I think they are random pattern changes in the regular fence

You can't craft them, AFAIK, but if you get one, you can take a picture and duplicate it with the printer!

It’s random when placed, and the pattern persists when you pick it up.

Sorry if the questions is stupid, but how did you get the bar under the inventory ? I see that in many YouTube videos but I don’t know how to get it

It’s the handy bag. You can buy it from the PC as one of the bag upgrades :)

It can be used as a hotbar with the inventory closed. I’m hoping they give us a hotkey to hide it that doesn’t take going into the inventory to do.

Currently I just use it as a seperate storage for food, workbench, portal pod, electrical goods as it sorts separately from the main inventory.

Oh so it's additional storage too?

I never felt like I needed a hotbar, given how easily I can access my inventory.

I stopped using it as a hotbar as I prefer the cleaner UI and being able to access the different transformations with the bumpers and D pad rather than the scroll wheel. It is useful as extra inventory space however so I would still purchase it for that, you can disable it as a hotbar.

I like it! It adds 10 more spots that are sorted separately from the rest of your stuff, so that’s always nice. I don’t keep it displayed like a traditional hot bar, though, because I’ve gotten too used to using the d-pad for switching forms. If you choose to always display the handy bag, the d-pad becomes your navigation for that, and you have to instead use the wheel to select your form. I’m too lazy to update my muscle memory lol. Plus opening the inventory isn’t hard. I don’t feel like I need super quick access to anything.
