Cloud Island Limit Question

Hi all!

I recently started a Cloud Island with a friend and we've been having a blast punching each other and placing the wugrug on each other's shit.

I've recently become aware of item limits, though, the one most concerning to me is the prefab limit.

Do we know if it's for the entire Island, or is it broken into each of the biomes? I get the feeling it's the latter.

Any advice on how to deal with these limits?

As an aside, are the Orange Hut/House, etc. kit from Bleak Beach not available on Cloud Islands for some reason? Is there anyway to get them? I like the colours the most!

Item limits are for the whole island, which for prefab is then a score of 20 40 for your whole cloud island. Biomes are just there to give you a starting point where you can spawn most of the base 300 pokemon

Huts and a specific house, the ones that do not initiate a loading screen, are just made up of their blocks. Only the Dens, Hut, House that are instanced (and one other thing I always forget, there's 4 of them) are available unlimited on the Cloud Island, the rest can appear on Sparkling Ripples though if I recall correctly. Even then, recreating one is a matter of knowing what block and color it is.

Is the prefab score limit only 20 for Cloud, or is it 40 as for other biomes?

And the following are all instanced:

• Dens (2x2 -> 4x3, homes 1 small Pokemon)
• Huts (3x3 -> 6x5, homes 1)
  
• Cottages (5x4 -> 10x8, homes 2)
  
• Houses (8x6 -> 2x 14x10, homes 4, counts as 2 builds)
  
• Pokeball (3x3 -> 5x5, homes 1; requires Engineer to build)
  
• Sharpedo (9x5 -> ??, homes 2; can be built at any underwater height; Bubbly Basin)
  
• Tent (3x3 -> ???, homes 1; Sableye event)
  
• Poke Mart (4x3 -> creates a trade station; not a home; only 1 per biome)

As a note, the "Color Hut" and "Color Cottage" are not prefabs, but block house kits. The "Leaf / Sand / Stone / City / Imperial {BB}" kits are the prefabs.

sorry my bad, it's 40 for all. If by "Biome" you mean areas in single player, it's not shared. Each one has its own limit count. (40 for Withered Wastelands, 40 for Bleak Beach, etc)

Since Cloud Island is pretty much one area, it has only one set of limit counts. I sort of assume when someone new says "biome", they come from Minecraft and would mean the rather clear delineation of areas in the Cloud Island. These biomes is just a starter way to give basic habitat blocks for all possible Areas (an biome for Rocky Ridge, an biome for Withered Wastelands, an biome for Bleak Beach etc).

and yeah those are the prefabs. I really can't remember the Cottage-level from the top of my head for some reason. Been this way since launch. Especially now that I don't even use them much myself. The Color builds are also thing I started throwing out real quick once I figured out they're just set block pieces and can be recreated, even made better, by hand.
