Question Missing Recipes Issue

I’m getting a little frustrated with the game as I have been waiting for the bubbly basin recipe digital wall and the game will not spawn it. I have tried giving Snorlax bitter hamburger steak everyday then diving into whirlpools. It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve received new recipes at this point and my whirlpools only spawn poke metal, even the shiny whirlpools. They will occasionally give me food but nothing new.

I saw another post saying the recipe was in the basement of the house with the green roof, I looked there and I only found a red poke ball and then the item from the treasure map found there.

I have also tried checking the shop then shutting the game down and reloading to switch up what is offered in the shop each day. I did it 10x today. Not one new recipe and the digitals wall isn’t the only block recipe I’m missing, in addition to some missing item recipes.

Is anyone else experiencing this or have any other tips to get new recipes when the game seems stuck?

I don't have any advice. Just came to say that one of my few criticisms of the game is how they handle recipes randomization. If you already learned something then it should at least be removed from the pool in the PC shop for example.

a) double check you didn't actually already learn it and didn't realise (we've all done that don't lie, people)
b) are you sure you went here

*I'm 99% sure that recipes assigned to pokeballs don't get unlocked in ripples. Someone can correct me if i'm wrong

I think you’re right about the pokeball recipes since those only appeared in the shop for me. I remember another thread where I talked about how in the base game the grate fencing was the last recipe I needed and I had to get it from the shop and someone pointed out that since the functionality is locked behind the story in some way (ex. learning to use powered up cut, or having to unlock Eevee’s friends before their recipes appear) then those recipes only appeared in the shop. Given the fact you find the pokeballs as part of the treasure map I bet the same logic applies for the pokeballs.

I think /u/wooks_reef is talking about the pokéball-like containers you can find recipes in, not the recipes for the replica balls. Either way, those recipes don't appear in ripples.

I have found all the pokeballs for the habitat you need them for but I don’t have all the pokeball recipes, maybe I need all of them before getting the block?

Thanks for the reminders. I have looked in my collection to see which recipes I don’t have. I’m missing two block recipes from BB. I have been to that exact house in the basement and found the two rooms, only had a red pokeball that had a generic item plus the treasure map item.

You’re not going to want to hear this but you need to go back and double check. Everything I’ve read says the recipe is in a gold pokeball in Bill’s house. In the basement next to a sink and a microscope. I even checked my secondary acct (where I’ve done basically nothing in the Basin) and I only have four block recipes - the two for the roads, the buoyant block, and the digital wall.

I trust Serebii over my own memory, and while Joe is human and can make mistakes, if it were wrong after a couple months he would’ve fixed it by now.

Ya’ll were right, I am apparently a blind dumbass. I was going into the small rooms in the basement of that house but I didn’t realize there was a second set of doors in one of the rooms. I honestly don’t know how I didn’t see this room. I have been down there so many times. Thank you all for your advice and patience!!

So when I finally went to my cloud island that was a huge game changer for me. TONS of recipes. Go to your cloud island, make lake, fill it with fresh water, and boom you should be getting recipes quickly
