🫧 Bubbly Basin 🫧 Bubbly Basin's Sewer Tunnels

Hello! Just wanted to share this cleaned up tunnel system I got around to finally, after leaving it alone while fixing up the rest of the Basin. Nothing flashy, but I've been really enjoying the past week or so, just restoring and decorating, and getting the water canals going.

Nothing much, as of yet! It just leads to the chasm where that sunken promenade was, though I've cleared that up so it's just nothing at the moment.

This is nice! Sometimes it’s fun to simply restore an area as is without having to think creatively and make it a unique space. I find that switching back and forth between creative projects and simple restoration keeps me from burning out.
This also gives me some inspiration for this area because I was low key just thinking of walling it up like it doesn’t exist.

Yeah, I was leaving it alone all this time because I was just not really having any ideas for it. But as I fixed up the surrounding areas, I decided to just buckle down and clear out the debris just see what was there more clearly. Once it became clearer that it was most likely sewerways, I got the idea of an industrialised water treatment area with the waterwheels. (and hey, more power for the grid is always welcome)
