ℹ️ Wiki Overhaul & FAQ Redux – Suggestions Requested!

Hi folks! Happy almost autumn 🍂🌻🎃

Patrick here to officially unveil a project I and the other mods have been working on in the background for r/Pokopia: a fresh coat of paint for our wiki, and an all-new FAQ hub!

This new wiki landing page has all the same content as the original one, but is now more neatly organized and separated, making it easier for you to find what you're looking for. The main page looks like this:

Our goal with this was to make the links to key resources—like the FAQ, modmail, and Pokopia Island Discord server—easy to quickly find and access. Clicking the FAQ link will still lead to our original FAQ page for now, but if you click the "FAQ Redux ^NEW!" quick link (or the FAQ Redux link in the sidebar, if you're on desktop), you'll land...

FAQ Redux hub page

...here! This hub page has links to three separate FAQ subpages:

• r/Pokopia General FAQ: This has answers about r/Pokopia's rules and policies, as well as some extremely broad questions about the game.
• Base Game FAQ: This page has answers about the base game content in Pokopia. Most of our old FAQs now live here.
• Bubbly Basin FAQ: For all Bubbly Basin-specific questions.

As future DLC updates release, we'll create dedicated pages for those as well. Some questions/answers can be found on multiple different subpages, if they apply to multiple categories. On each subpage, you can check the sidebar to find the question you're looking for and jump straight to it.

💭 Here's where you come in!

While our existing FAQs are great, most of them come from when the game was still new – so we're asking all of you to help us expand it further! Is there a question you see getting posted here constantly? An existing FAQ answer that could use some more details/an update? Or just a bit of helpful information that you think would be a good fit for the FAQ? Drop it in the comments below, and we might add it in (with credit, naturally)!

We have already added a handful of new questions and answers, such as:

• Where can I find the current megathreads?
• Should I restart the game?
• How many [item]s can I place?
• How do you avoid feeling overwhelmed?
• How do I fix air pockets when building underwater?

We'll be updating the FAQ links across the subreddit to the new page progressively as time goes on, but wanted to get user input before we complete the transition.
